Pop Piano Lessons

Every student has a different background and goal.  Some want to play casually, while others aim to improve their improvisation skills.  My pop piano lessons are designed flexibly based on your level, interests, and learning direction.

 

Lessons cover performance, improvisation, and arranging techniques.  I’ll also share the creative process and improvisation ideas behind my pop piano videos on YouTube, helping you understand the musical thinking and arrangement strategies involved.

This course is designed for adults.  Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who has taken graded exams and wants to rekindle your passion for piano, lessons will be tailored to your level, focusing on technique, expression, and musical understanding to help you improve holistically.

Choose the Lesson Format That Suits You Best

No matter which part of Hong Kong you’re in—or even if you’re overseas—my lessons can be arranged flexibly. You can choose between in-person or online lessons, with equally rich content and results. The teaching approach will always be tailored to your goals and situation.

In-Person Lessons​

  • Lessons can take place at the student’s home, in a rented piano room at a music centre, or online.

  • Priority is given to students in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, though students in other areas are also welcome to enquire.

  • Lessons can be conducted in Cantonese (native) or English (fluent).

​​Online Lessons

  • Lessons are conducted via Zoom, using a multi-camera layout so students can clearly see demonstrations, sheet music, and materials at the same time. Whether you’re in Hong Kong or overseas, you can learn comfortably from anywhere.

  • First-time students who enroll in a 4- or 10-lesson online package will also receive a free technical setup session to help you get started smoothly.

  • Lessons can be conducted in Cantonese (native) or English (fluent).
